On-Site Seminars

Specialty Health Education, Inc. offers high quality, on-site seminars at an affordable price!

Specialty Health Education, Inc. strives to provide nurses and healthcare professionals with the highest quality continuing education programs. In an effort to help you meet the educational needs of your nurses or allied healthcare provders, ‘on-site seminars’ are available for your healthcare facility or organization. Specialty Health Education, Inc. provides seminars in the following specialty areas:

  • Perianesthesia Nursing
  • Perioperative Nursing
  • Moderate Sedation (Sedation/Analgesia)

As part of your on-site program, Specialty Health Education, Inc. will provide:

  • A highly qualified speaker for a one day (8 hour seminar)
    Programs generally run from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with two breaks and lunch
  • Handout materials for each seminar participant is provided
  • A completed CE certificate for 7 contact hours for each seminar nursing participant. Please note that Specialty Health Education, Inc. does NOT offer CME’s for physicians

Here’s what you need to do...

  • Select a seminar topic you would like us to present: Perianesthesia Nursing, Perioperative Nursing or Moderate Sedation
  • Select 6 to 8 topical content topic areas that you would like presented at your seminar (see Program Topics)
  • Select a date that is mutually convenient for both your organization and our speaker

Your organization is also responsible for...

  • Providing the seminar room
  • Promoting/advertising the seminar to your facility and other interested parties (participant registration fees, if any, are set strictly according to your facility guidelines)
  • Provide an LCD projector and sound system for our speaker
  • Provide our office with the names of three local hotels (this is in the event that our speaker requires an overnight stay)
  • Sign the Specialty Health Education, Inc. on-site contract and forward a $1,500 non-refundable deposit to our office (see Fee Structure)
  • Provide us with a list of seminar attendee’s (name, home address, home phone #, and hospital affiliation) for our on-site sign in sheet no later than 10 days prior to the seminar date
    • Please note that this information is an accreditation requirement
    • CE certificates will be sent to the facility representative after the seminar date

Specialty Health Education, Inc. does NOT allow audio or video taping for any of our seminars. All materials are protected by U.S. copyright.

Program Times

All programs generally run from 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. for a total of 7 contact hours!

CE certificates will be mailed to the group contact person after the conference.
